A small Wilkinson County town where the properties run to acreage and the pine comes right up to the yard.
McIntyre is a small town in Wilkinson County between Gordon and Irwinton, in the same kaolin and timber country that runs along this stretch of the Fall Line. It's a place of larger properties and shorter streets — more acreage than subdivision, with planted pine and mixed hardwood never far from the back door.
On properties like these, the tree line is the real boundary. What starts as a few volunteer pines along the edge of a yard becomes, over fifteen or twenty years, a wall of growth that's taken another thirty feet of your property and put mature trees within reach of the house. Most of what we do around McIntyre is pushing that edge back — removals along the tree line, brush and understory cleared out, and fence lines opened back up.
JC's Tree & Stump Removal covers McIntyre out of Macon, about forty minutes west. Locally owned since January 2022, BBB Accredited A+, JC Henry on the job himself. Written price before anything starts and everything hauled off the property. 478-972-8036.

"JC and his crew did a great job getting the massive tree that fell during the storm. They were very helpful and worked hard to make sure myself and my neighbor were happy with the end results, and all of my property — trailers and fence — that were buried by the tree were protected while they worked. Will use JC's Tree Service again!"

"The clean up after 7 tree removals was outstanding! It looked like there were never any trees there."

"JC and his team took down 60 or so dead and dying eastern cedar trees between 30 and 50 feet tall. They cut, hauled and cleaned up all of the trees and under-brush in one day. I have used JC before and both times the work was excellent and his fees were very reasonable. He is my tree guy!!"

What McIntyre property owners ask us most.
Yes, and it's one of the most common jobs on properties out your way. We take the volunteer growth and whatever's grown too close, clear the understory behind it, and haul it off. Be aware privet and briars regrow — we'll tell you honestly what comes back.
McIntyre is about forty minutes from Macon and it's within our working area. Call with the address and JC will tell you how it fits the schedule.
Mostly, with planning. Access route, ground conditions and what's buried all factor in. On soft ground we'll use protection on the travel path or recommend waiting a week rather than leaving ruts.
Yes. You don't need a tree removal booked — brush and underbrush clearing is a normal standalone job.
