"From hazardous trees and stubborn stumps to storm damage at two in the morning — JC's brings the crew, the equipment, and the cleanup that makes it look like we were never there."
JC's Tree & Stump Removal is a locally owned tree service based right here in Macon, Georgia. Owner JC Henry has been clearing dangerous trees, grinding out stumps, and hauling off storm damage across Middle Georgia since 2022 — and has built the business on two things customers keep coming back for: honest pricing and a job site left spotless.
Whether it's one leaning pine over a bedroom or sixty dead cedars across a property line, the approach is the same. We look at the job, tell you straight what it needs, give you a price that doesn't move, and when the trucks pull out you shouldn't be able to tell we were there.

This homeowner circled the limbs he was worried about and texted us the photo. That's all it takes to get a price from us.
A storm split this trunk clean through. Damage like this is exactly why a dead or weakened tree shouldn't be left to wait.

"The clean up after 7 tree removals was outstanding! It looked like there were never any trees there."
— Storm Morse, Google Review
JC's Tree & Stump Removal has been serving Macon and Middle Georgia since 2022, and JC Henry is on the job himself. That means the man who gives you the price is the man running the saw — no salesman, no handoff, no surprises when the crew shows up.
Read through the reviews and the same thing comes up again and again: fair pricing, hard work, and a property left clean. Customers describe yards where you couldn't tell a sixty-foot tree had come down that morning. That standard is the business, and it is why so much of the work comes from repeat customers and referrals.
"JC and his team took down 60 or so dead and dying eastern cedar trees between 30 and 50 feet tall. They cut, hauled and cleaned up all of the trees and under-brush in one day. I have used JC before and both times the work was excellent and his fees were very reasonable. He is my tree guy!!"
"We needed to get a tree off a roof after a bad storm so we could replace the damaged area. We called JC and the same week he got us a competitive price. His crew of very hard working and the clean up was seamless. It was like they were never even there. We will be using / referring JC's Tree and Stump Removal for all tree related jobs in the future!"
"JC and his crew did a great job getting the massive tree that fell during the storm. They were very helpful and worked hard to make sure myself and my neighbor were happy with the end results, and all of my property — trailers and fence — that were buried by the tree were protected while they worked. Will use JC's Tree Service again!"

Yes, and it's the thing our customers mention most. Review after review describes a job site left so clean you couldn't tell a tree had been removed. When you get your estimate we'll tell you exactly what the cleanup includes for your job, so there are no surprises when the trucks pull out.
We do. JC's runs 24-hour service for time-sensitive work — a tree on a house, a split trunk, limbs hanging over where your kids play. Call 478-972-8036 directly for anything urgent rather than using the form, and tell us if there are power lines involved.
Grinding takes the stump down below ground level so you can mow or plant over it, and it's the faster and more affordable option. Full removal pulls the root ball and surrounding soil, which is a bigger job but leaves nothing behind. Tell us what you plan to do with that part of the yard and we'll recommend the right one.
